Why Participate?

We are hearing more and more about AI but many of us don’t have current information on how this is impacting the field of education. This session will:

  • Explore the dynamic role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in reshaping the educational landscape

  • Offer an insightful introduction to AI, highlighting its fundamental principles and how it's revolutionizing various industries, with a specific focus on education

Participants will leave with:

  • A clear understanding of AI's potential in education

  • Practical knowledge of AI tools that can be integrated into their teaching practices

  • An awareness of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in education

Join Dr. Michelle Brenner as she shares her expertise and practical tips. Dr. Brenner has had the opportunity to share this learning around the country with many different educator groups and also serves as the lead facilitator for GOCSD’s GOTech Network.

Dr. Michelle Brenner is the Director of Technology and Digital Learning for the Branson Public Schools. As a director, it is her goal to keep teachers and administrators up to date on current technology. She has been researching ChatGPT and AI since its inception, learning more about it in an effort to help her teachers and administrators. She has presented in and out of the district several times on this topic to teachers and administrators and has attended several sessions about AI at national conferences and hopes to shed a little light on the topic for teachers in SW Missouri!
