During this virtual interest session, we will:

Brainstorm Together: Engage in creative discussions on how this network should be structured, its potential activities, and how it can best serve its participants. Your ideas will shape the network's direction.

Network & Connect: Build meaningful connections with your peers ā€“ fellow gifted educators or coordinators from across Missouri. Share insights, experiences, and strategies that can benefit everyone.

Paula Macy has been a part of gifted education for over 15 years. She is currently the Gifted Coordinator at Nixa Public Schools.

She holds a Doctorate of Instructional Leadership and Masters of Arts in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University and a Masters of Arts in Gifted Education from Drury University. She is a contributing author for differentiated instruction resources published by Teacher Created Materials.

Student engagement, team building, innovation, critical thinking, and creating environments rich in differentiated learning and higher level instruction are her passions.

Our GOLearn PL Framework provides an overview of the learning experiences we offer. This systems approach supports continuous improvement and allows members to identify the offerings that meet their needs, providing a personalized experience. It includes three strands: Systems Thinking, Safe and Collaborative Culture, and Highly Effective Teaching and Leading.

We use the Learning Forward Standards for Professional Learning when designing our experiences to ensure that we provide professional learning that leads to high-quality leading, teaching, and learning for students and educators.
