Sarah began her career as an elementary teacher and quickly became very interested in the ever evolving technology that was available to support instruction and learning. That interest led her to specialize in technology and get a Masters in Instructional Technology. She then professionally transitioned to Nixa Public Schools’ Technology Department as the Technology Integration Specialist for the district. Sarah has worked in instructional technology for the last ten years and has had a front seat to its impact on education. She serves as the Canvas administrator for Nixa Public Schools.

Ryan joined Instructure in 2022 after 22 years serving as a teacher, coach and administrator, including 13 years in the Park Hill School District in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the founding principal of the LEAD Innovation Studio, an award winning, project based learning school with an emphasis on self-directed learning and mentorship. Ryan is passionate about sharing his experience leveraging technology to support teaching and learning with partner districts across the midwest.

Levi has been with Instructure since 2018 working with institutions on the eastern half of the U.S. to evaluate the benefits of Canvas LMS. These Institutions include state cycling organizations to schools for the deaf and blind as well as the more traditional school districts. With deep midwestern roots, Levi is invested in establishing genuine relationships to help increase equity and ultimately help students achieve more.

Our GOLearn PL Framework provides an overview of the learning experiences we offer. This systems approach supports continuous improvement and allows members to identify the offerings that meet their needs, providing a personalized experience. It includes three strands: Systems Thinking, Safe and Collaborative Culture, and Highly Effective Teaching and Leading.

We use the Learning Forward Standards for Professional Learning when designing our experiences to ensure that we provide professional learning that leads to high-quality leading, teaching, and learning for students and educators.
