Description

Are you a Canvas Administrator? If so, take 45 min of your day to collaborate and learn with the person who does what you do in other districts. Add an agenda item from which you’d benefit to make this meeting exactly what you need. We have two regional experts facilitating the conversation, and three authorities from Instructure participating in the session.

This networks intends to meet virtually the first Wednesday of each month.

Sarah began her career as an elementary teacher and quickly became very interested in the ever evolving technology that was available to support instruction and learning. That interest led her to specialize in technology and get a Masters in Instructional Technology. She then professionally transitioned to Nixa Public Schools’ Technology Department as the Technology Integration Specialist for the district. Sarah has worked in instructional technology for the last ten years and has had a front seat to its impact on education. She serves as the Canvas administrator for Nixa Public Schools.

Nathan works with teachers to improve the use of technology in their classrooms from K-12. Nathan has worked as an Instructional Coach of Technology since 2012 and has managed many platforms including being the administrator for the Canvas Learning Management System for the Webb City R-7 School District.

Levi has been with Instructure since 2018 working with institutions on the eastern half of the U.S. to evaluate the benefits of Canvas LMS. These Institutions include state cycling organizations to schools for the deaf and blind as well as the more traditional school districts. With deep midwestern roots, Levi is invested in establishing genuine relationships to help increase equity and ultimately help students achieve more.

This systems approach supports continuous improvement and allows members to identify the offerings that meet their needs, providing a personalized experience. It includes three strands: Systems Thinking, Safe and Collaborative Culture, and Highly Effective Teaching and Leading.

We use the Learning Forward Standards for Professional Learning when designing our experiences to ensure that we provide professional learning that leads to high-quality leading, teaching, and learning for students and educators.
