In this session we will share best practices from the successful school build of Williams Elementary in Springfield Public Schools with the team who implemented construction management at risk on time and on budget.

Bay Mourer

Bay Mourer is focused on ensuring that Missouri schools, health care facilities, and private companies receive the ideal construction solution to meet their needs. As a business development officer, he carefully identifies the customer needs and communicates them to a team of experts for successful implementation. With over 20 years of team management experience and current school board member, he understands the importance of a successful school construction project.

Gregg Scholtens

Gregg Scholtens is Executive Vice President of Operations for Nabholz Construction responsible for the Southwest Missouri area out of the Springfield Missouri office. He has had extensive experience at every level of the construction industry and is currently managing the team for construction operations of three k-12 school projects and two secondary school projects among other projects throughout this region.

Dr. Travis Shaw

Dr. Travis Shaw is the Executive Director of Operations for Springfield Public Schools and is responsible for facility planning and managing the team of staff executing the growth plans for the Springfield Public Schools recently completing the construction of two new schools and has a High School under construction using the CMAR construction process.

Michael Sapp

Michael Sapp is the President of Sapp Design and Architect where he has over 30 years of experience in all phases of architectural practice from master planning to construction documents, to strategic planning as well as having additional expertise in ADA Facility Compliance. He is deeply familiar with CMAR and recently partnered with Paragon architects to complete the Williams Elementary construction at Springfield Public Schools.

Brad Erwin

Brad Erwin is the Principal Architect at Paragon Architect where he has built a reputation for innovative architectural projects and facilitating teams at a high-level of success. He specialized in sustainable architectural design for communities through civic, public safety, education, and laboratory facilities. Paragon was also partnered with Sapp Design for the recent completion of the Williams Elementary project at Springfield Public Schools.
