Ann Wallenmeyer

We invite you to join Ann Wallenmeyer, SPS Science Coordinator, to participate in this interactive session where you create lessons through the lens of the instructional cycle referencing DESE resources such as performance level descriptors, item benchmarks and MO LEAP blocks. Bring your resources and unit guides so that you can tweak your plans to include pre/post assessments, formative assessments, 3 dimensional instructional strategies, and summative assessments.

Ann has worked in the field of science education for twenty-four years. She has worked with K-12 Science Curriculum for Springfield Public Schools since 2002. Ann received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri and her Masters in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Biology from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Some of her current projects are implementing 3-Dimensional Learning in science classrooms and integrating real world science experiences into “school.”
