Mrs. Watkins goes above and beyond for her students, consistently finding creative ways to make English engaging and enjoyable. She dedicates extra time to support her students’ success and fosters a positive, fun learning environment.

Mrs. Garner is being recognized for her efforts to help students take ownership of their learning. She implemented a color-coded highlighting system in math, allowing students to visually reflect on their level of understanding and identify areas for improvement.

Mrs. Hefner says, "I love being able to make a positive impact in young lives. Watching students learn to read and write is fulfilling. I am blessed with fantastic co-workers, students and families. Working in an environment like this makes Puxico an excellent place to be!"

Everton

For this month’s #TeacherProud Tuesday Dr. Pam Hedgpeth asked Will Darter, Superintendent of Everton R-III his "why" for choosing to be an educator.
