It’s TEACHER PROUD TUESDAY! The Strafford R-VI School District is excited to join GOCSD and other school districts across the state in celebrating teachers on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Today we’d like to honor Sarah O’Callaghan. Mrs. O’Callaghan is the Strafford High School family and consumer sciences teacher and FCCLA sponsor! Mrs. O’Callaghan does a wonderful job of making connections with Strafford students. She consistently ensures they meet high expectations and actively seeks input to help them succeed. Sarah puts an incredible amount of time and care into her work, and it truly shows! Thank you, Sarah, for all you do for Strafford students!

You’ve Been DUCKED! - Celebrating JR2 Teachers and Staff members in a new and FUN way!
Dr. Kinder is a loyal JEEP driver and has always enjoyed collecting the rubber ducks that people leave as a random act of kindness, or to spread smiles! He wanted to start a new tradition of spreading kindness by recognizing teachers and staff for the great things they do. He is also the #1 Jackson Indian fan. He has combined his two favorite things to spread a little cheer this year!

The purpose of the Teacher Proud Tuesday campaign is to lift up and celebrate the profession and those currently serving, to recruit and inspire candidates to consider teaching, and to inform communities, business leaders and policymakers on the importance of public education.
