Houston R-1 School District
Mr. Adam Vandiver, High School Welding Instructor
Mr. Vandiver played an instrumental role in launching Houston’s welding program, one of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered through the district. Our goal across all CTE programs is to provide high-quality, hands-on learning experiences that prepare students to earn industry-recognized certifications, enter the workforce after graduation, or continue their education. We also strive to help develop and retain highly qualified professionals within Houston and the surrounding communities.

🎉 It’s #TeacherProud Tuesday! 🎉 Ozark is excited to join other school districts across the region in celebrating teachers on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Today we’d like to honor OJH PE Teacher Autry Acord. ❤️🖤 He does it all! From PE to cross country to keeping our cafeteria running smoothly, he wears a lot of hats and does every one of them well. We appreciate all he does for OJH!

From Chromebooks and tech support to lunch cards, fun staff videos, and all the little things that make our building run more smoothly.
