November Teacher Proud Tuesday

For November's Teacher Proud Tuesday we are spotlighting these Member Districts.

Camdenton

We are so proud of Mr. Bearden, our Building Trades Instructor at Lake Career and Technical Center. Mr. Bearden and his students have the opportunity to learn while building homes from the foundation up. Their most recent home just sold and Mr. Bearden is featured with the new homeowners handing over the key! Mr. Bearden is one of the many teachers that continue to make us Laker Proud and Teacher Proud!

Joel E Barber

Mr. Rod Howe was nominated by a student for Teacher Proud Tuesday for being a teacher who goes out of his way to make students understand the curriculum.

JEB Administrators are so excited to see parents, students, and fellow staff members being Teacher Proud.

Reeds Spring Schools

Mrs. Kim Hammer of Reeds Spring Schools was one of only three teachers named as a Southwest Missouri Regional Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Hammer teaches fourth grade at Reeds Spring Elementary School. She’s known for being an innovative thinker who brings a high level of energy into the classroom.

“She maintains high standards while using a positive, supportive approach with all students,” said Reeds Spring Elementary School Principal Laura Weber. Students often say that they love science in Mrs. Hammer’s class because they learn exciting things and take part in fun activities.

Join the Celebration

GOCSD encourages all educators to collectively “lift-up” and celebrate our profession! The hope is that we all proclaim that every second Tuesday is Teacher Proud Tuesday. Check out the Teacher Proud Toolkit & Tutorial to learn more.
